What a month… Easter, three birthdays in our family, a trip with my wife, a proud Uncle moment, the Kirk Cameron Show, and more!
Big Birthday Month for the Camfam:
My daughter, Bella, and two of my sons, Luke and James, all had birthdays this month, so the new Tennessee farm house was bustling with lots of celebration!

Easter!!!
We celebrated Resurrection Sunday this past month, and I spent some time reflecting on these sentiments shared by C.S. Lewis in “Mere Christianity”:
 | “Give up yourself, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favorite wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end submit with ever fiber of your being, and you will find eternal life. Keep back nothing. Nothing that you have not given away will be really yours. Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.” |

Visit to my friends at CHM:
I had the privilege of spending a couple inspiring days in Ohio with my friends at Christian Healthcare Ministries. I got to speak at their Easter chapel service, which was a highlight of the month for me. My daughter, Olivia, came with me, which made it even more of a treat!

America’s Favorite Teacher:
Proud Uncle moment… My nephew, Max, has made it to the national quarterfinals of the “America’s Favorite Teacher” competition, and I can not think of anyone more deserving of it! Max has been one of our longtime staff members of Camp Firefly, a devoted father, coach, and teacher of special-ed students. He has an enormous heart and service-oriented mentality. He is the kind of man this country desperately needs more of, and I’m proud and grateful to be his uncle. Would you please VOTE FOR MAX at the link below?
