Faith, Farm, & Family!

April was an exciting month in the Cameron household! We celebrated three birthdays, for my daughter Bella and two of my sons, Luke and James. Chelsea and I cannot believe that our youngest child is 22 now! But we have to say, the grandparent era is even more special than we could have imagined. God tells us that “There is a time for every season…” (Ecclesiastes 3) and we feel overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for the one we’re in right now, having all our grown children in Tennessee nearby and our first grand baby just down the road.

In other very exciting news, our middle son, Luke, just got engaged! He chose the perfect sunny, spring day at the botanical gardens to pop the question, and we are so excited for the story that God is writing through their love!

I also decided it was time to restart the CAMFAM chicken egg factory! We raised our kids with lots of animals growing up. You name it, we probably had it at one point or another. We affectionately called our home “The Cameron Funny Farm,” because of our odd assortment of miscellaneous pets.

So we’re doing it again, round 2, in Tennessee! Who knows, we might even add a goat or two pretty soon…

My daughter, Olivia, displayed her art in a local festival this past month! She painted dozens of adorable animals and country landscapes. Our perfect farm-house decorations. Check out her artwork for sale on Instagram! (@livscanvas)

This month, we, along with millions of believers worldwide, celebrated the most glorious and triumphant day for all people everywhere. Resurrection day! Easter Sunday!

“Easter opened up a crack in a universe winding down toward entropy and decay, sealing the promise that someday God will enlarge the miracle of Easter to cosmic scale.” ~Philip Yancey

To me, Easter is a celebration of Christ’s grace and glory and a declaration of his eternal victory over sin and death. He made a way for our sin-sick souls to be restored and to become fully alive again! Just like the trinity, there are three aspects to our being: the spiritual, emotional, and physical. Our health in all three areas is tied to our union with Christ. The bible tells us, “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” ~Proverbs 3:7-8

This is one of the reasons, too, I’m so thankful my family and I have found Christian Healthcare ministries, which is a biblical alternative to traditional healthcare, that operates based on Christ’s principles for whole-being health. It’s been a true game changer for us, which is why I recommend CHM to all my friends and family.

I’ve provided a link below where you can learn more about the God-honoring way in which CHM conducts their ministry and explore the specific options they have for you and your family.

AAANND…We’ve officially begun filming for my brand new podcast, “The Kirk Cameron Show! This is an idea I have been wanting to bring to life for nearly a decade, and I’m so excited to share it all with you very soon. It will officially be yours on May 12th! Stay tuned…

God bless!
