Our Family Thanksgiving and more!
November RECAP...
CamFam Thanksgiving:
This really is my favorite time of the year, when the leaves make red and gold paintings around us, life slows down a bit, family comes even closer together, and our collective focus naturally tends to shift back towards some of the things that matter most: Quality time with family, good food, good rest, and our Great God!

We spent Thanksgiving this year at our new house in Tennessee with the whole family, soaking in the southern air, thanking God for all the blessings of 2025, doting over Maya (who brings absurd amounts of chubby-cheeked joy to our whole family), and eating the traditional cornucopia of delicious foods. Here’s a few photos from Thanksgiving and the past month in Tennessee!

New Year’s Priorities:
At the end of every year I try to take inventory of the ways I’ve been spending my time, the thought patterns I’ve been living in, how I’m spending my money, and what type of things I am pouring my resources into. My mother in law, Irene, always used to tell her kids,
“The future lies before you like a sheet of fallen snow. Be careful how you tread it, for every mark will show.”
One of the ways I try to live with integrity is intentionally working with companies that support my values as a Christian, instead of against them. That’s why I was so THRILLED several years ago when I heard about Christian Healthcare Ministries through my friends, the Kendrick Brothers. Christian Healthcare ministries is a biblical alternative to traditional healthcare that is founded on the principles of bearing one another’s burdens in Christ, praying for fellow believers, and working at all you do as for the Lord and not for men.
In addition, CHM provides truly excellent, top-tier service, AND often saves me 50% on medical bills. It gives me the freedom to choose the doctors I feel most comfortable with instead of being restricted to an insufficient network, and it is far easier on my bank account. I encourage you to check out the options they have perfectly suited for you and your family! Just click on the link I’ve provided below.
Red Truck Men:
If you like bacon, trucks, fire, and good community… you might be a Red Truck Man.
This month I got to participate in an epic gathering of men with my good friend, Steve, who started Red Truck Men: a community for men to “connect, build solid bonds, and grow stronger in faith through the study of God’s word.” We met for a hearty, southern style, outdoor breakfast with bacon, eggs, biscuits, and black coffee around campfires, while sharing honestly and discussing God’s Word. Through these monthly men’s breakfasts, weekly words of encouragement, quarterly service opportunities, retreats, and conferences, Red Truck Men is transforming the lives of thousands of men, and, through them, their communities!
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” ~Proverbs 27:17
The world needs more spaces like the ones Red Truck Men is providing, where men can build each other up, listen to God’s truth, and pray for one another as they navigate life’s challenges! Learn how to get involved by clicking the button below!
The Kirk Cameron Show:
My new podcast show is one of the things I’ve been most excited about and blessed by this year! The fact that I get to film it with two of my sons has been an absolute blast, and the topics we discuss have made me dig in to be more thoughtful, informed, and wisdom-seeking. New episodes drop every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In recent episodes we’ve discussed everything from the real story of Thanksgiving, the Epstein files, wether or not Christians should drink or get tattoos, a weird week in American politics, how God instructs us to pray, and more!
Takeways:
One of my favorite conversations I got to have this year on “Takeaways” was with my sister, Bridgette, who shared her incredibly authentic testimony that quite literally millions of you resonated with! She recently released a book as well that goes into even more depth about the topics of trusting God, doubt, purpose, and “forgotten” dreams. As her brother, I have of course been familiar with Bridgette’s story, but when I read her book, I was truly blown away by the depth of wisdom and life-changing insights she shares. Watch the video below, and if this is a topic that resonates with you, I highly recommend going deeper in her book, “Overlooked"!
To Ponder:
I will leave you with an excerpt I read this month from C.S. Lewis and have been thinking about ever since…
“Your real, new self […] will not come as long as you are looking for it. It will come when you are looking for [Christ]. Does that sound strange? […] The principle runs through all life from top to bottom, Give up yourself, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favourite wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end submit with every fibre of your being, and you will find eternal life. Keep back nothing. Nothing that you have not given away will be really yours. Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.”
~C.S. Lewis,Mere Christianity
God bless you!
