You guys! I'm SO excited about this!

I want to let you know about a super special event that is bringing together some of my very favorite people—my wisdom-filled wife, Chelsea, my good friend and founder of Heartlight Ministries, Mark Gregston, and my longtime friend and legendary musical artist, Steven Curtis Chapman.

Mark has put together a weekend for parents of adopted teens who want to equip themselves with practical, biblical wisdom to face the unique challenges that raising adopted children can bring.

My wife, Chelsea, was adopted herself and is the mother of our four adopted kids. If anyone can speak powerfully and gracefully to this topic, believe me, she can! I have had the blessing of getting to parent our children alongside her for twenty-eight years now, and I am daily blown away and inspired by her depth of wisdom and empathy.

Mark Gregston is someone whose ministry I have admired for many years. He is the founder and CEO of Heartlight Ministries, a residential counseling program, where he and his team has been actively involved with over 1,400 families who are struggling with their adopted teen during their adolescent years.  He's lived alongside these kids, poured his wisdom into them, and has amazing insights as to how to work through the unique issues that adoption can bring.

Steven Curtis Chapman is the most awarded artist in Christian music history, and he is also the father of six children, three of which were adopted. I would argue that his role as a father far outshines even his phenomenal music career. He will be performing his worshipful songs at this event and sharing his rich parenting insights with all of us as well.

If this sounds like something you would benefit from and want to be involved with, visit  http://www.ParentingTodaysTeens.org/adoption where you can learn more about the event and register.

This is an exclusive event, limited to just 50 people, so if you’re interested, don’t wait to register! I truly believe this is an event that will change the future of your family in amazing, life-giving ways.

God bless you!
